International Vice President
Darrin L. Harris is the CEO of Darrin L. Harris Professional Coaching Services, LLC. As a
veteran of the United States Marine Corps he is well versed and equipped in assisting leaders in
becoming great leaders. After a life-changing mission to Africa in 2007 Darrin L. Harris began
the Ekhaya Youth Project, Inc. a nonprofit that serves and supports youth and their families.
In 2010 Ekhaya Youth Project was awarded a grant from the Rockefeller Foundation and Peyton
Manning’s PeyBack Foundation to implement an antiviolence/mentoring initiative for at-risk
youth in the Greater New Orleans community. In 2011 Ekhaya Youth Project was awarded a
HUD grant from Unity of Greater New Orleans to implement a pilot program targeting
unsheltered transition-aged homeless youth ages 18-24. In 2013 Ekhaya Youth Project became
the country’s first statewide family support organization through a partnership with the Louisiana
Behavioral Health Partnership and Magellan Health Services in Louisiana. As the statewide
family support organization Ekhaya Youth Project has been able to provide youth Independent
Living Skills Building and mental health/substance abuse support services to over 2000 youth
and families throughout 64 parishes in the state of Louisiana.
Darrin L. Harris has served on 2 national advisory boards, Family Run Executive Directors and
Leaders Association (FREDLA) and the Support Employment and Education Advisory Board
(SEE). Both organizations primary focus is on Youth and Youth Adult with Mental Health
Challenges. In addition, he has served a board member for Unity of Greater New Orleans an
organization that funds community service organization help to house home individuals.
In 2018 Darrin retired as a disable veteran but still continues to serve and assist other nonprofits
start-ups, conducts public speaking seminars/engagements, volunteers as a veteran peer advocate
and serves as the national Vice President of Theta Nu Beta Veterans Fraternity Incorporated.

Bro. McLemore enlisted in the U.S Navy in December 1987 following graduation from Skyline High School in Dallas, TX attending basic training at Recruit Training Center, Great Lakes Illinois and then completed Basic Enlisted Submarine School in Groton, CT. He then attended Torpedoman “A” School in Orlando, FL. Upon graduation, he reported to his first command, USS Groton (SSN-694) in Groton, CT where he earned his Submarine Warfare Qualification, and Chief of the Boat qualifications. He left active duty in July 1992.
Bro. McLemore joined the Naval Reserve August of 1992 and affiliated with various units. In July 2001 completed Intelligence Specialist “A” School in Dam Neck, VA and immediately deployed to Pacific Command in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. McLemore has attended several schools and is a graduate of Columbia College.
Bro. McLemore attained the rank of Chief Petty Officer in 2006 with several Leading Chief Petty Officer, Regional Senior Enlisted Leader, Navy Detachment Command Senior Chief, and Command Career Counselor Tours. Obtaining the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer. Bro. McLemore has earned the following awards, Navy Meritorious Service Medal, Navy Commendation Medal with two stars, Army Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with three stars, and various other service and campaign medals. He retired from Naval Service in November 2015 after 28 years of service.
Bro. McLemore currently serves on the Secretary of the Navy Retiree Board, and as a member of the American Legion.
